Alzheimer Scotland Support Sessions Near You

Did you know that across North Ayrshire, Alzheimer Scotland support and information sessions are being delivered to help those affected in our communities?

Alzheimer Scotland Community Groups can be attended by anyone living with dementia or experiencing difficulties with their memory, as well as their families and friends.

All are welcome, and those who are unable to attend independently can bring a companion who can provide any support for them. Groups are held at the following locations and operate on a drop-in basis unless otherwise stated:

2nd Thursday of the month: Talk of the Town – The Vennel, East Road, Irvine, 1.30pm to 2.30pm

3rd Thursday of the month: Musical Memories – High Kirk, Beith, 2pm to 3pm

3rd Tuesday of the month: Football Reminiscence – David White Community Hub, Saltcoats, 10.30am to 12pm

4th Wednesday of the month: Largs Drop-in / Largs Carer Support (booking required for Carer Support) – Cameron Centre, Largs, 10am to 11am (drop-in) / 11am to 12.30pm (Carer Support)

4th Thursday of the month: Carer Support Lunch (booking required) – Whitlees Community Centre, Ardrossan, 1pm to 3pm

4th Tuesday of the month: Tea and Blether – David White Community Hub, Saltcoats, 11am to 12pm

Online groups are also held as follows:

1st Thursday of the month: Carers Cuppa – 2pm to 3pm

2nd Wednesday of the month: Quiz, 2pm to 3pm
