North Ayrshire Staff Association (NASA) has pulled out all the stops to bring some fun and cheer to members again this year.
NASA is back for 2023 and the action starts this March with an amazing ABBA Tribute Band, the NASA AGM and the TV Gameshow Night. April then brings the much-anticipated Grand National weekend and a special party night that is not to be missed to celebrate NASA’s 25th Anniversary.
Running since April 1998, NASA is run on a voluntary basis by a Committee consisting of Office Bearers and Staff Representatives. The group organise a number of social and sporting events throughout the year for the benefit of its members and local charities.
Currently there are 1,443 members who are all North Ayrshire Council employees, with associate memberships also available to retired employees/partnership. Membership entitles you to attend any of the NASA events and entry into the NASA monthly prize draw which gives lucky members the chance to win £250, £100, £50 or £25 each and every month.

- Fri 14 – Mon 17 Apr: Grand National Weekend, Blackpool/Aintree – ***2 spaces have become available for this trip, which includes 3 night’s Dinner, Bed & Breakfast in a good quality Blackpool hotel, coach travel throughout in the 57 seater exclusive to NASA, and tickets to the Festival Zone at Aintree for the big day on the Saturday(worth over £80 each). - Fri 21 April: NASA’s 25th Anniversary Party(feat. top artiste Michael Darling’s Comedy Drag Show and DJ/Party Night) – We have a fantastic night in store to celebrate our special anniversary. - Sat 22 April: Open Day (including Scottish Grand National) – Free entry Open Day at the NASA Club for members and their guests, including fun sweepstakes and coverage of the Scottish Grand National.
