Chief Executive Craig Hatton gives his latest video update ahead of the festive break. 2023 was a busy year with its own unique obstacles, however recent inspections have shown that we continue to deliver for communities and as a local authority we have been recognised nationally as a high performing Council, improving faster than other councils as we continue to deliver our Best Value principles. The update also recognises that although we face ongoing economic challenges, our staff and network of community partners are steadfast in ensuring that we still deliver for communities, providing vital services and driving continuous improvements to build a better North Ayrshire that is fair for all.
Finally, Craig shares his gratitude and sincere thanks to staff across the Council and Health and Social Care Partnership who will be helping others and making their own personal sacrifices to serve our communities over the Christmas period and New Year.
Although 2024 will pose new challenges, the Chief Executive is confident that by working together, we will all continue to do our best for our communities and residents. Merry Christmas to everyone.
