Domestic Abuse Policy and Guidance

This year’s White Ribbon 16 Days of Action campaign will aim to ‘Shine a light on domestic abuse’.

The Domestic Abuse Policy and Guidance aims to ensure all employees receive the right support.

There is a wealth of guidance and a wide range of supports available for employees such as (this list is not exhaustive):

  • 10 days Safe Leave (Paid) for appointments
  • Unpaid Safe Leave to cover an extended period of absence
  • Access to Employee Counselling Support
  • GBV Advisor who can provide support and guidance, signpost to support agencies, authorise safe leave and hold confidential records
