Get involved: BAME Employee Forum

The Council has a vital role in influencing the culture and values of our organisation by identifying ways to ensure that the voices of our employees are listened to so that we lead continuous, positive change within the organisation.

As employees, you also have an important role in sharing your views and working with us to actively address any issues and concerns and to help make improvements to working practices.

Subsequently, a BAME Employee Forum is being established across Ayrshire. The Forum will aim to unify and empower the voices of employees and influence positive change in the pursuit of equality across the three Council areas of North, East and South Ayrshire.

For further information, and to note your interest in the BAME Employee Forum please contact – Andrew Hale, Health Improvement and Equalities Officer: andrewhale@north-ayrshire.gov.uk and Caitlin Murray, HR Officer: caitlinmurray@north-ayrshire.gov.uk

*Please note that we also have our Employee Disability Forum and you can find out more by emailing the two contacts above. Please also let us know if there are any other areas you think would benefit from having an employee network.
