#LibrariesWeek (3-9 October) will celebrate the nation’s much-loved libraries and their inspiring role in lifelong learning.
As an employee of North Ayrshire Council, there’s lots you can do alongside our Libraries, Information and Culture Team to Celebrate Libraries Week, see our round-up below:
- As you work in North Ayrshire, you can use any of our 15 libraries: Find a library (north-ayrshire.gov.uk or join online;
- Read ebooks from authors like Richard Osman and Ann Cleeves and choose from 7000 newspapers and magazines from around the world: Read online (north-ayrshire.gov.uk)
- Audiobooks are increasingly popular with people on the go and we have a fantastic selection: Listen online (north-ayrshire.gov.uk);
- Set up a book group with your colleagues and borrowing from over 600 sets of books, contact: dreghornlibrary@north-ayrshire.gov.uk;
- Using the FREE Wifi/pcs at 14 of our libraries – wifi printing coming soon.
