Involving young people in meaningful co-production

North Ayrshire Youth Services has teamed up with Suicide Prevention Scotland and Electrify on their latest series of awareness videos on how Scotland’s local authorities are involving young people in meaningful decision-making on matters affecting them.

The first in a series of films, North Ayrshire’s instalment was filmed back in November with Donna Anderson, the Council’s Youth Participation Officer and features her team of youth workers and youth modern apprentices sharing how the Council’s Youth Participation Strategy has supported them and the young people they work closely with.

Well done to Max, Dionne, Jaymie, Sarah and Dionne who have taken the time to talk through how young people are embedded in the process to support Scotland’s suicide prevention strategy and action plan.

See the other videos in the series on the Suicide Prevention Scotland playlist.
