Over the next few months, the Communications Team will be working with colleagues across the Council on a new campaign called Sustainable North Ayrshire.
The campaign will inform communities and key stakeholders about the Council’s journey to achieve net zero carbon by 2030.
It will also launch the new Sustainable North Ayrshire Strategy and highlight some of the work already delivered (and to follow) under five strategy workstreams.
Earlier this week, we issued the press release here announcing that work has started at the first of two Council solar PV farms.
The projects – at Nethermains and Shewalton – indicate our ambition, as a local authority, when it comes to cutting carbon emissions. And the campaign will shine a light on other sustainability projects and initiatives, starting in the coming weeks.
