Who is your local health hero? Do you know someone working or volunteering in NHS Ayrshire & Arran or the health and social care partnerships in East, North and South Ayrshire, and who deserves to be recognised?
If you are nominating for more than one category, you will need to complete a separate form for each nomination.

There are six award categories to choose from:
- Care and compassion
- Shining stars
- Thinking out of the box
- Collaboration and working together
- Making a difference with digital
- Behind the scenes
There will also be a Chairperson’s Award. The winner of this award will be chosen by the Chair of Ayrshire and Arran NHS Board, and will be presented to an individual or team who deserves special recognition for the work that they do. Awards are open to all members of staff employed by NHS Ayrshire & Arran or one of the three Health and Social Care partnerships, as well as volunteers. The easiest way to nominate your health hero is to use the online nomination form.
The deadline for nominations is Sunday 25 February.
Ayrshire Achieves is about recognising exceptional staff and volunteers who provide health and care services in Ayrshire and Arran. Nominations can be made by patients, staff and partner organisations.
