Ayr County Show is one of the highlights of the year for the region. Showcasing all that is great about Agriculture and the Food & Drink Industry. This year’s show will take place on Saturday 13 May 2023 at Ayr Racecourse.

The Regional Food Groups along with local councils (East, South & North), are looking to bring together the very best food & drink producers from Ayrshire, Arran & Dumfries and Galloway to exhibit in the food & drink marquee at this year’s show. The event will be publicised across various platforms to ensure footfall to the event is high. Last year’s show saw a footfall of 10,000 people for the one day event.

In addition to food and drink stands, the marquee will also provide members of the public the opportunity to meet and chat to primary producers – Farmer, Grower, Butcher, Baker etc. A children’s cookery class is also in the planning stages along with collaboration with RHET (Royal Highland Education Trust).

The organisers are fortunate due to funding to be in a position to offer discounted stand prices at this year’s event. Stand costs booked in conjunction with us for 2023 will be £60.00 (reduction from £80.00) – therefore if you are working with a service provider or local business who would be interested in setting up a stall to represent North Ayrshire, please encourage them to get in touch.

Those wishing to express their interest for a stall at the event are asked to email: gillian.morton@east-ayrshire.gov.uk by 27 March 2023.
