The removal of desk phone handsets in Cunninghame House and Bridgegate House is scheduled to take place during February, so if you haven’t already, it’s time to book in your Softphone handover appointment with IT.
Softphones enable calls to be made and received using your laptop and a headset. This means that you can make and receive calls wherever you are via your laptop and an internet connection. Once set up, there is no longer a need to forward your office phone calls to your mobile.
The deployment of softphones continues to be successful and there are now over 1000 staff using softphones. If you’ve not already migrated and your office location is Cunninghame House or Bridgegate House, please call our Service Desk on 01294 324290 or log on to the IT Customer Portal here to arrange an appointment to have this installed on your laptop.
