Taking care of your health and wellbeing

We’re sure many of you will welcome the longer days and better weather as we leave the dark winter months behind.

Brighter times are ahead and we hope that the Scottish Government’s recent roadmap out of lockdown has boosted your spirits.

Many of us continue to work from home or in different ways, and it’s important that you continue to make your health and wellbeing a priority.

Remember to try to maintain your routine and if you are working from home don’t be tempted to work longer hours by skipping lunch time or by logging in over the weekend.

It is important to make sufficient time for sleep, rest and respite between shifts.

Ensure that you take regular breaks for tea, coffee or to stretch your legs and make sure that you take a lunch break for at least half an hour. As we enter a period of better weather, try to get some fresh air if you can.
