Update on PC replacement project and Windows 11

The Councils PC replacement project will continue in 2024 if your device is on the list for replacement, you will receive an email from IT Services with all the relevant information necessary for ICT to replace your device and facilitate a smooth transition.

As part of ICT’s commitment to continuous improvement, we will soon also be transitioning from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

We understand that change can be a bit overwhelming, especially if you’re just getting the hang of windows 10 don’t worry, we’re here if you need some guidance.

What’s new in Windows 11

Windows 11 has a fresh look and some handy new tools to make things easier for you. You’ll notice a redesigned Start Menu, new ways to organise your open windows and some other handy new tools to make day to day life simple.

To familiarise yourself with Windows 11 before receiving your new device, you can visit the following link Meet Windows 11: The basics – Microsoft Support

ICT will facilitate sessions with our Digi Guru’s on Windows 11 and prepare regular hints and tips that will be published on Connects.
