Bike Week is coming

Person cycling outside

Bike Week 2026 is taking place from Monday 8th to Sunday 14th June, and we’re encouraging all North Ayrshire Council employees to get involved and give cycling a go.

Whether it’s cycling to work, getting out for leisure, or simply encouraging others, Bike Week is a great opportunity to try something new, boost your wellbeing, and support more sustainable travel.

Why take part?

Bike Week is open to all abilities—you don’t need to be a regular cyclist. Even taking part for just one day can make a positive difference to your health and the environment.

Workplace Prize Draw Challenge

To make things even more exciting, we’re running a Bike Week Prize Draw Challenge with chances to win some great prizes.

Take part on one or more days during Bike Week and enter the corresponding draw:

  • Prize Draw 1: Take part on 1 day (cycling or encouraging others)
  • Prize Draw 2: Take part on 2–3 days
  • Prize Draw 3: Take part on 4–5 days

Prizes include:

  • Rechargeable bike lights
  • Stainless steel water bottle
  • Heavy-duty bike lock (top prize)

How to enter:

Once you’ve identified which Prize Draw to enter, simply WhatsApp your name, workplace, and chosen prize draw and option 1, 2 or 3 to: David Reid – 07887 894822
