Get Re-Connected at Eglinton Country Park

Whether you're welcoming new colleagues to the team, miss your colleagues who work from home on different days or simply want the chance to give back to our community and spend valuable time together outdoors, the upcoming Get Re-Connected volunteering sessions at Eglinton Community Gardens and Eglinton Country Park are the perfect remedy!
Gardening activities with Ranger Linda
There is always work to be done at Eglinton Community Gardens, from erecting polytunnels, to preparing ground for growing, constructing raised beds, to planting out. It all depends on what our volunteers are needing help with but, there's never any shortage of healthy activities to get stuck into!
Available dates are as follows (each session takes place from 9.30am until 12.30pm)

Tackling invasive species with Ranger Graeme
Balsalm bashing sessions - volunteers wanted! Spend the session down by the river, removing the invasive plant Himalayan Balsam. Old clothes, waterproof trousers and sturdy waterproof footwear recommended as it can get wet and muddy depending on weather.
