NASA Golf Day returns
The North Ayrshire Staff Association (NASA) Committee are delighted to announce the renaming of one of their key annual events.
The ‘NASA Gordon Craig Memorial Golf Day’ is set to be played on Friday 28 August this year in honour of our great friend, colleague, former Chairperson and one of the original founders of NASA, who sadly passed away in 2019.
Gordon was a truly great guy and is sorely missed by all. Gareth Picken has kindly agreed to organise the Golf Day on behalf of NASA, with a new trophy to be contested annually in Gordon’s memory.
All abilities are welcome to take part, so please come along and support the day. Here’s an overview of the event:
Tee Off in Tribute – Join Us for the NASA Golf Day
Supported by NASA and LiveWell, join everyone on Friday 28 August at Ravenspark Golf Course in Irvine for a special day of golf, friendship, and remembrance at the NASA Golf Day as we come together to contest the Gordon Craig Memorial Cup.
This event is more than just a game — it’s a heartfelt opportunity to remember and celebrate our great friend, colleague, former Chairperson, and one of the founders of NASA, Gordon Craig, whose passion for golf and camaraderie left a lasting impact on us all.
What’s in Store:
🌞 A hot roll on arrival to start your day right (8am)
⛳ A fun 7-hole Team Texas Scramble to warm up
🍽️ Break for a relaxing lunch with soup and sandwiches
🏆 The main event: An individual 18-hole Stableford competition for the Gordon Craig Memorial Cup
Whether you're playing for the win or simply to honour Gordon’s memory, this will be a meaningful and memorable day for everyone involved.

💷 Cost: No more than £35 per person (as the event is supported by NASA & Livewell, the cost will reduce depending on numbers)
