North Ayrshire Housing Services rent consultation

Launched on Friday 5 December 2025, North Ayrshire Council’s annual rent consultation is underway and will conclude at midnight on Friday 16 January 2026.

Information with the rent increase options has been sent to tenants along with completing an online survey.

The Housing Services rent consultation survey, gives tenants the opportunity to complete the questionnaire and indicate their preferred option. They can do this over the phone, online or by email.

The Housing Services team will also be doing the following:

• offering six £50 shopping vouchers as an incentive (the form links to the competition once complete)
• tenants can visit their local housing office or library to compete the consultation online
• building services tradesmen, community link workers and occupational therapists leaving rent consultation card at each appointment
• utilising housing, call centre and communities staff and the Money Smart team to issue relevant information and encourage survey completion
• promotion of rent consultation via our website, the North Ayrshire Community Planning Partnership website, social media channels, libraries, community venues, the CE4U care experienced app, information on television screens in housing offices, text messages and emails to tenants
