This session is for employees on Local Government terms and conditions and is not intended for Teachers and Associated Professionals.

This session provides an overview of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), including how your pension builds up, what it costs, the protection it provides for you and your family, and how to understand your Annual Benefit Statement.

It will also cover options for paying extra, the 50/50 section, retirement choices and the practical steps to take when planning for retirement.

The session is for North Ayrshire Council employees on Local Government terms and conditions who would like to better understand their LGPS benefits and the information and support available.

It is not intended for Teachers and Associated Professionals, who are members of a separate pension scheme administered by the Scottish Public Pensions Agency.
