The LiveWell group have partnered up with KA leisure to bring FREE health checks to council employees.

The KA Leisure health check sessions include lifestyle and weight management advice along with cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar testing and the Boditrax machine – a medically approved body analyser and personal profiler to help manage weight loss, increase energy or fitness levels, boost wellbeing, professional training or medical assessments).
Daytime health checks will take place during business hours as follows (40-mins per slot):
The location is 3rd Floor West Occupational Health rooms, Cunninghame House, Irvine, the waiting room is on the righthand side of the corridor (half-glass door)

The test doesn't take long at all, and the health test is really simple, it only takes half an hour and it looked at age, BMI, blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol levels and more. Overall, it was a really insightful experience and most importantly it was free from stigma or judgement.
