Financial Harm Awareness
Date: Thursday 18 June 2026
Time: 9.30am until 12.30pm
Venue: Goatfell Training Room, Training Suite, Cunninghame House, Irvine
This event explores the signs and tactics of those who perpetrate financial harm on vulnerable adults. This includes those who hold official financial powers, such as Power of Attorney or Guardianship. These behaviours can be investigated under Adult Support & Protection (Scotland) Act 2007 and during the event, learning from previous national cases is discussed.
The event is a balance of facilitator input, group exercises, videos and case studies.

Sexual Harm Awareness
Date: Tuesday 30 June 2026
Time: 9.30am until 12.30pm
Venue: Goatfell Training Room, Training Suite, Cunninghame House, Irvine
This event examines the behaviours and decision making of those who are experiencing sexual harm. This includes perpetrator tactics within the different types of sexual harm and how this can be investigated under the Adult Support & Protection (Scotland) Act 2007, and the links to criminality.
The event is a balance of facilitator input, group exercises, videos and case studies.
