They offer a great opportunity to combine your working life with studying – so you can learn while you earn. Benefits include learning new skills and improving your career opportunities aligned to your current role.
Graduate Apprenticeships offer Council colleagues across our services a fantastic opportunity to develop new skills, and help us to ensure we have a high-skilled workforce. This partnership with UWS also helps us to attract and – importantly – retain talented people because by offering Graduate Apprenticeships it is clear that we are investing in our workforce and are opening up as many opportunities as possible for staff to develop. I would encourage anyone who is interested in finding out more to attend one of the Teams information sessions that have been arranged by UWS.
The team at UWS – which has campuses in Ayr, Dumfries, Lanarkshire and Paisley - offers support including helping employees to upskill and providing additional support for learning ahead of courses starting.
