Survey looks at social media use in young people

North Ayrshire Child Protection Committee held an information gathering event at Greenwood Academy last year, attended by young people from across the region. Participants told the team that they would prefer to see important information from NACPC via the social media platforms that they use. In order to help us plan out social media content, we want to look further into the social media habits of young people aged 11 and over to ensure it is designed to go out via the platforms they use most, and in a format they are most likely to engage with.

A short, anonymous survey has been launched, that should take no longer than 10 minutes for young people to complete. The closing date is Tuesday 30 June. Any support you can offer to promote the survey to the young people you work with would be greatly appreciated.
